These collage paper works are composed of collected advertising debris, rescued during an ad changeover in the "Cardinal Lemoine" Metro Station in the Latin Quarter of Paris a few years ago. The material gathered was comprised of layer upon layer of ads; one on top of another. First, the ads were soaked, releasing one layer from another, and then they were dried. Much of the ad debris was not retorn further, preserving the edges as they were found on the edges of the substrate. Many of the pieces include the original color registration strips. As material ran out, the images became smaller.
